Spark's Ignite II lights up the FL auditorium

September 13, 2012 | Spark: UCAR Science Education produced NCAR's second Ignite event on Wednesday, September 12. Nine presenters covered a diverse range of topics while adhering to the Ignite format of 20 slides, 15 seconds each (hence the "hurry up" motto).
Like a meal assembled from a variety of small tapas plates, the presentations provided food for thought, introducing colleagues, programs, and ideas from across the organization and one guest from across town. The Ignite II lineup included

The conversations continued at a reception where finger foods were available to satisfy physical hunger as well. Organizer Teri Eastburn and colleagues plan to post video from the event as soon as it's available. In the meantime, the presentations from Ignite I are available for viewing on the Spark website.
Teri announced plans to host Ignite events about twice a year, so watch Staff Notes Daily for the next one, because you really don't want to miss it.
