    The National Academy of Sciences announced the election of 120 new members, including distinguished climate scientist Clara Deser of the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR). Deser is a senior scientist in the Climate and Global Dynamics Laboratory (CGD) in NCAR.

  5. UCAR announces new director of government relations and external engagement

    Pamitha Weerasinghe is joining UCAR from the Union of Concerned Scientists, where he served as the senior manager of government affairs. He previously worked for seven years on the staff of the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Science, Space, and Technology.
