UCAR President Antonio Busalacchi offers condolences after mass shooting at member institution Tuskegee University.

Nine researchers at the U.S. National Science Foundation National Center for Atmospheric Research (NSF NCAR) and the University Corporation for Atmospheric Research (UCAR), as well as a UCAR trustee, and an NSF NCAR distinguished scholar have been recognized with fellowships and awards from two prestigious Earth and space science organizations.

Warren Washington, internationally recognized expert on atmospheric science and climate research and distinguished scholar at the U.S. National Science Foundation National Center for Atmospheric Research (NSF NCAR) passed away last week at the age of 88.

As chief legal officer, Hillock will oversee legal and regulatory compliance, intellectual property protection and enforcement, technology transfer, research security, export compliance, privacy, and other compliance, risk, and legal initiatives.

The new member institutions include McMaster University; Portland State University; Tuskegee University; University of California, Riverside; and University of California, Santa Barbara.
