UCAR President Antonio Busalacchi offers condolences after mass shooting at member institution Tuskegee University.

The University Corporation for Atmospheric Research (UCAR) has announced the 2024 recipients of the Next Generation Fellowship for 2024. This fellowship is awarded annually to three graduate students from North American universities who are looking to gain experience in three tracks: scientific research; policy; and diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Nine researchers at the U.S. National Science Foundation National Center for Atmospheric Research (NSF NCAR) and the University Corporation for Atmospheric Research (UCAR), as well as a UCAR trustee, and an NSF NCAR distinguished scholar have been recognized with fellowships and awards from two prestigious Earth and space science organizations.

Warren Washington, internationally recognized expert on atmospheric science and climate research and distinguished scholar at the U.S. National Science Foundation National Center for Atmospheric Research (NSF NCAR) passed away last week at the age of 88.
